The 2018 Pan American Masters Championship allows the use of certified service animals and will follow the rules set by the ADA. There are additional rules we have put into place to help the flow of the meet and for the overall well-being of all athletes and guests while on deck.
In addition to the requirements set forth by the ADA, we require:
* While on the pool deck, in hospitality and locker rooms, the animal be in a carrier/backpack, or if too large, on a leash at all times. No animal is to be off-leash/not carried at any time in these areas.
* Animal droppings must be completely and immediately cleaned up.
* Be courteous of other athletes as some are uncomfortable with animals, may be allergic and are not expecting there to be an animal in the venue.
* When walking in walkways the animal either be carried or swiftly moved through walkways to avoid the clogging of pool areas.
Event staff has the right to remove any athlete and service animal from the facility for not adhering to the rules set forth by the event committee.
